This annual conference provides a platform for presentation of original research results in fundamental aspects of computer science. It also provides an excellent forum for meeting and exchanging ideas with people who are at the frontline of software technology and theoretical computer science.

Workshops
In addition to invited talks and contributed papers, the FSTTCS 2004 programme will have two pre-conference workshops.
13,14 December: Algorithms for dynamic data, coordinated by S. Muthukrishnan and Pankaj Agarwal.
14,15 December: Logic for dynamic data, coordinated by Uday Reddy.
Other Events
The INDOCRYPT 2004 Conference will be held in Chennai from 20 to 22 December 2004.
The HiPC 2004 Conference will be held in Bangalore from 19 to 22 December 2004.
The ICDCIT 2004 Conference will be held in Bhubaneswar from 22 to 24 December 2004.
The TECS Week 2005 will be held in Pune from 5 to 9 January 2005.
The 1st Indian conference on Logic and its Relationship with Other Disciplines will be held in Mumbai from 8 to 12 January 2005.
Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in its Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
Guidelines for Authors
The final camera-ready copy of accepted papers is due on September 15. The camera-ready version is limited to 12 pages in LNCS style. Instructions for how to upload the final version will be posted here shortly.
For an accepted paper to be included in the proceedings, one of the authors must commit to presenting the paper at the conference.
