Welcome to the IJCC Workshop 2006 on digital engineering at Phoenix Park ski resort in Korea. This workshop is also the 6th Korea-Japan CAD/CAM workshop, a workshop series being held every year alternatively in Korea and in Japan. This year we are expecting participants not only from Korea and Japan, but also from China and other countries. This workshop series is getting more attention in the East Asia region and other countries year by year and being improved in the quality of the presented papers. We hope that the researchers in the CAD/CAM and digital engineering community take this opportunity to present their recent research results and exchange ideas, and also enjoy social activities at the most beautiful ski resort in Korea.
In addition to the two days workshop program, we are planning a tour to one of the major manufacturing companies or research center of such a company on Feb. 7th, 2006. Therefore, participants from foreign countries are strongly encouraged to plan to arrive at Seoul on the Feb 6th, 2006. The details that will help foreign participants to plan their travel will be posted soon.
