The Second China-Korea Joint Conference on Geometric and Visual Computing (CKJC 2006) will be held in Hangzhou, China on August 23-25, 2006. Hangzhou is one of the most scenic cities in China. There's a Chinese saying that goes "up there is heaven, down here is Hangzhou". We look forward to meeting you in the city of heaven.
CKJC 2006 is an annual conference between China and Korea on Geometric and Visual Computing through a series of discussions and collaborations. The annual conference is a great platform to facilitate the communication and cooperation among the engineers and scientists in Far East region and is designed to address the hottest topics in geometric and visual computing. It provides an excellent opportunity for researchers, developers, practitioners to present and discuss new problems, solutions, and technologies in geometric and visual computing and facilitates sharing recent research results and trends among the participants. We hope our experience through this and future efforts on the series of the conference will help to understand each other and facilitate closer collaborations among participating researchers.
Some papers selected from the conference presentation will be considered to be published in the top-notch journals as special issues. The details on this issue will be announced later.
The First Korea-China Joint Conference on Geometric and Visual Computing (KCJC2005) was held on August 24-26, 2005, in Busan, South Korea.
